It’s always hard to find new games to play and in particular to find games of a certain offering. Within this listing the goal is help you find or well identify some new titles to check out within the selection that you’ve been searching for. With the Top 10 Xbox Series X Star Wars Games you’ll likely come across something that should be worth checking out or at least an offering that you hadn’t heard of prior.
At least, that’s the main focus of these listing options and most of the time these aren’t done in a particular ranking order to instead offer you just a choice list of games to play if you find them of interest. That’s typically why people love these sort of write-ups with a visual component too which is nice.
You’ll get the ranking bolded, a video to showcase the gameplay in action which I almost always suggest checking out for sure and then a brief description for each of the games accompanying the ranking in case you’re curious to find a little bit more about them. It’s all for context and further understand for what the games might provide you. Whatever the case, happy gaming and hopefully this is something you can find helpful.
#10: Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2017)
Bringing both a single player and multiplayer experience you can enjoy the full scope of the Star Wars eras. In the story you will deal with the fallout of the Empire falling apart whereas the multiplayer provides epic large scale battles across every single era. You can become a powerful hero or just set out about on foot to blast enemies along the way.
#9: Star Wars Episode 1 Racer
This is the classic podracing action available in the modern era. It may not have aged the best, but it’s still just a ton of fun to play. You work on your podracer to improve it across a campaign or just speed out in quickplay. There are many unique planets to race across and ever so many exciting ways to compete out there on the track.
#8: Star Wars Jedi Survivor
The follow-up finds our hero Cal trying to get towards a new home while meeting old friends and dealing with threats that have randomly appeared. You’ll be again, walking the path of being a Jedi while having the universe almost entirely against you. Use the force to traverse, battle and progress towards the idea of finding somewhere safe from the Empire.
#7: Star Wars Republic Commando
This is a squad based shooter featuring an elite group of clones that are having to get work done behind enemy lines during the Clone Wars. It features a distinct set of clones that have unique abilities and functions to provide to your goals. It’s an interesting change up as you really do get a different sort of combative experience within the universe and particularly around the time period of Episode 2.
#6: Star Wars The Force Unleashed
It’s time to embrace the dark side of the force as you become Darth Vader’s secret apprentice. This one has a bit of fun with the lore of the Star Wars franchise bringing with it very intensive main narrative elements and some entertaining DLC to say the least. Unleash the full powers of what a Sith might be able to possess as you work for Vader getting down into the most secretive of missions. It’s hard to be a powerful user out in the era, but an interesting one all the same.
#5: Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order
After years of hiding Cal is forced out from behind hiding to once again reconnect with the force and become the Jedi he was meant to be. It’s all about exploration, rediscovery of the force and the powers it provides and also about the bonds of growing in a group. You’ll explore many unique locations, find lost secrets and make your way within a hostile galaxy.
#4: Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy
This is a very different take on the franchise allowing you to choose your path within the force. You attend the Jedi Academy under the guidance of Luke Skywalker and Kyle Katarn. You’ll make choices and become more powerful as you train on deadly missions. It’s a new universe where the Empire has fallen and a new generation of heroes has begun to emerge from that very wreckage.
#3: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2
Set far back into the history of the Star Wars universe you will set your path as you make decisions that will impact where you’re headed and the types of people you’ll work with. There’s a lot of choice within this sequel to what was a very well loved original entry. This one expanded upon concepts in interesting ways with some shocking twists and turns to match that scenario.
#2: Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2005)
Providing not only a darker take on the legacy of the Clone Wars, you’ll also get to experience many exciting battles within the instant action playlists or perhaps even take a stab as Galactic Conquest. The game is stacked with content and many iconic planets to battle on from the Original Trilogy and the Prequel Trilogy as well. The story follows the 501st as they assist in many of the biggest battles in the history of the Clone Wars as they slowly work into becoming Vader’s Fist. There’s also space battles which are cool.
#1: LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
While the Complete Saga will always hold a special spot in my heart this one does expand greatly upon the concept of traditional LEGO games offering the experience to journey through every single Star Wars movie in a complete compilation. Unlocks hundreds of characters, discover hundreds of secrets or well collectibles and engage with the galaxy however you’d like as they even have areas in space to explore outside of large open planets to visit. This one really does have a little bit of everything from the franchise, for anyone no matter their age.
That’s the list for the Top 10 Star Wars Games to play and hopefully it did indeed lead you towards trying out something new. That’s always the hardest part of entertainment, coming across something you didn’t find out prior or in searching for something distinct to read and take in.
Be sure to view the video as well for further context. The site is also full of other helpful content and similar lists so that should be of assistance too. Check out some other content below too for more gaming action.
